BIOGRAPHY

Antionette Smith Epps is the Director of the Master of Health Administration Program and Clinical Associate Professor with the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at Indiana University—Indianapolis. Prior to joining Indiana University, she served as an Assistant Professor with the Health Care Systems Administration Program in the College of Health Profession at Ferris State University (FSU) in Big Rapids, Michigan.

Dr. Smith Epps received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (public administration concentration) from Jackson State University, Jackson, MS; a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) in Hospital Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI and the Doctor of Public Health from the University of Alabama—Birmingham (AL) in Health Care Organization and Policy—Public Health Management. Professional affiliations include the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), ACHE of Indiana, the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) for which she is a past national secretary, local chapter president and education committee chairperson. She is also a member of the local NAHSE Indy chapter, Executive Women in Healthcare and on the Advisory Board of the Indiana Chapter of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives.
