“At 23, I got into a very toxic relationship. My partner abused me physically and verbally every day. He would punch me in the face and during that four year relationship I lost most of my teeth. I had abscesses, tooth decay and problems eating for 9 or 10 years after that. I had to keep antibiotics on hand because I was constantly dealing with infections. It hurt too much to eat and no one would help me.

When I got married to my current partner, I wanted to be a healthier and happier version of myself. I was too embarrassed to take family photos, but I knew my son and partner deserved photos with me smiling in them too. When I found Gennesaret and called their Dental Office, they told me they would see me for free and I immediately started crying on the phone. I had full teeth extraction and was fitted for dentures. During the process, I was scared… but the dental assistant held my hand and let me squeeze as hard as I needed.”
